September 8, 2008 - LEATHER, LACE, FISHNETS
We had the makings of a wild goth party! The last time my makeup was so dramatic was in the mid 90s. Kristin and I transformed a mild-mannered guy named John (we had to blur and mosaic his face at his request) into the wicked goth queen Veronica. Veronica lent me her props, a riding crop, a whip, and a cat o'nine tails, for my photoshoot as others watched on.

September 22, 2008 - WE LOVE THE 80's NIGHT
What was most fun about We Love the 80's Night at this week's party was seeing everyone's interpretation of what the 80's meant to them. Some had heavy makeup on the top of their list. Some spruced up their hair as best they could. Others wore retro clothes they found in thrift stores. Still others wore 80's inspired clothing. Our group met many new faces tonight and I did a makeover on Kim, a tgirl who had never stepped out in public before. Kudos to her for making that bold step! Stephen, the owner of Tavern on Camac ordered us a pizza because their restaurant wasn't quite ready to open on Mondays yet.
