On September
25, 2006, Beba called and invited me to a restaurant she bartended at called Applause
Applause. Beba had gotten permission from the
owner to come up with ideas for a Monday night party, so she
suggested that the night be something "for the girls and their
friends, boyfriends, and admirers." At the time, Beba named her party "Beba and Friends." Knowing stars like Olivia
Love and me was sure to attract people, but while management
had good intentions, bad business decisions eventually led to
the restaurant's downfall. The party was held at Applause Applause for
three consecutive Mondays before moving to its current location, Tavern on Camac.
My friend
Christina Adams and I decided to join forces to continue the
Monday night party and all of the promotional tools, including
web site, promo cards, and word-of-mouth, for Monday Night Tgirls
were completed. We are now proud to say that Monday Night Tgirls
is the longest running tgirl party in Philadelphia. Our slogan of "NO FOOTBALL!" is well-known throughout the area and travellers from many different states have come to our party. We owe our
success to the numerous angels who continue to support our cause. We know you've
been looking for a party to go to for a long time, a safe place
where people like you can meet others like you. Monday Night
Tgirls is the place to be. It's basically Philadelphia's best
"GNO" (Girl's Night Out) party, but with the exception
that we welcome male admirers to our party. We love everyone
who loves us! |
